Pre-Production Preparations

This process takes design concept to manufacturable part. In this stage of the fabrication process I take 3D components and translate them into 2D flat patterns for sheet metal and also produce any required CNC programs such as laser or punch profiles. Allowances for bending and tooling must always be considered.

In our production process I produce dimensioned drawings suitable for hand layout. I also design any jigs required, producing drawings for these where necessary.
