Forgeworking

I built this small forge in order to heat metals to prepare for hot bending. This increases our bending capacity considerably. We can also use this forge to shape and form some components.

Typically this forge is not used for heat treatment of metals with the acception of the process of annealing which can reduce cracking when bending some materials.

This forge also provides heat for the workshop in cold winter months.
